Welcome BillyJoe, tell us what drives your desire to make music?
Thanks RADIOSPARX. It’s the sensation of freedom, how you can bring emotions through your soul and then into your instruments.
How do you fit making music into your daily routine?
Today as much as I can because it’s not my main income source (sadly I would like it to be, but it’s very hard) and recently my daughter was born, so I had to take this other job, delivering food on my bike. It keeps me fit – ha ha.
What’s your musical background – how did you get started on this journey?
I started playing cuatro, which is a typical Venezuelan instrument. Years ago, I was a addicted gamer – haha – then one day I saw an electric guitar in the house of my best childhood friend, and on that day, I swapped all my games and consoles in exchange for his guitar. I have never looked back.
I taught myself to play by ear. I was hooked. That moment changed my life, and nothing has been the same since. So I swapped one addiction – gaming – for another – music. It’s been good.
